This is a skit filmed to promote Shane Harper’s (Lead singer/editor of skit) band Whiskey Sharts. DJ filmed, as well as did a lot of the special effects and typography in post production.

Wild Game Nation – Season 8, Episode 5 – “Early Season Thunder Chickens”

DJ got a chance to edit an episode for the current season of Wild Game Nation for the Outdoor Channel. Wildgame Nation is a reality hunting show that takes an inside look at a dad and two sons who run a real American outdoor company named Wildgame Innovations. This show documents the lives of Bill, Matt and Ryan Busbice with a reality-style approach that shows them hunting, traveling and working together. Gartner Symposium/IT Expo Fall 2014

Gartner came to Orlando for their fall IT Expo.  The event was produced by A.V.P.S. (Audio Visual Projection Services, based in Tempe, AZ).  DJ had the opportunity to be an editor on the show.  Immediately after the interviews were filmed during the main event, a hard drive was handed off to DJ, where snippets were pulled for their website, as well as converting some of the full length videos and interviews to be displayed (formatting for either proper display during show or for DVD usage).

Some of these snippets can be seen on the Gartner Website, such as this one of Steve Wozniak’s (Cofounder of Apple Computer Inc.) keynote speech. “Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for more than thirty years, Steve has helped shape the computing industry with his design of Apple’s first line of products the Apple I and II and influenced the popular Macintosh. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer Inc. with Wozniak’s Apple I personal computer. This is just a few snippets of the many Jumbotron skits that played on the Jumbotron during the 2014 Predator (Arena Football League) Season.  These skits were filmed and edited by DJ Stokes.

“Billie’s Back” is a video that showcased her past choreographed dances from the 2010 and 2011 seasons. This video was also showcased at the 2014 Prowler Finals (open to the public, hosted at the Moat) to get the crowd excited for the return of Billie O’Hara as Dance Director to the 2014 Prowler Dance team for Arena Football League’s the Predators.

DJ edited the video, as well as filmed all the HD footage used in the compilation.

DJ, along with fellow Cameraman Robbie Corcoran and P.A. Kiley Preston captured the pre-lim round (1st round auditions) of the 2014 Predator Prowler Dance team and the judging process. DJ edited the video as well, and the video was showcased at the Moat during the Prowler’s final auditions.
